Hard to believe that the chapter year is almost over and my term as President is coming to an end. The Northwest Ohio HFMA chapter has had another strong year with it possible to have earned another 100 out of 100 points on our Chapter Balance Scorecard. This is outstanding considering that there were only a few chapters in the country last year to have earned the total 100 points and we very well may have done this two years in a row.

This would not be possible without all the hard work from the chapter’s volunteers. At this time I want to take the time to thank all of this year’s volunteers. These individuals find time out of their schedules, which can be hard to do, to ensure the chapter provides many benefits to one’s membership. Thank you to all.

With so many unknowns effecting healthcare today, our jobs are becoming more challenging from trying to be proactive to changes yet to be know. Remember…HFMA is there for you by providing articles, educational events and networking opportunities. I hope all of you take advantage of the opportunities Northwest Ohio HFMA has to offer. Next year’s Northwest Ohio HFMA is fortunate to have Todd Howell has our President. Over many years Todd has given so much of his time to the chapter to ensure the success of Northwest Ohio HFMA. I am confident that the chapter will only keep getting stronger.
